The French Quarter Management District is thrilled to announce the completion of the first round of pedestrian and cyclist safety improvements on this important corridor. This work comes from the FQMD Livability Committee, co-chaired by Erin Holmes of VCPORA, in partnership with the City of New Orleans and the State Legislation. The full package of improvements included two flashing crosswalk beacons at St. Ann and St. Phillip, flex posts protecting the bike lane and corner no-parking zones, painted curb extensions, and a newly painted green bike path.
FQMD is helping VCPORA to gather community feedback via this survey to better understand what should be prioritized next, because these efforts are just beginning. Click the link below to submit your survey responses by September 16th.
