The French Quarter Management District is currently hiring a qualified professional technology vendor for managed Information Technologies Support Services. For more information, please read the Request for Professional Services Proposals linked below. Respondents’ questions are due by Wednesday, March 13th, 2024. FQMD’s responses to respondents’ questions will be released Friday, March 15th, 2024. Proposal submissions are due by Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at 4:00 pm.
IT Support Services RFP Respondent Questions:

- How many endpoints (Desktops, Laptops, Cell Phones, Tablets etc.) will need support? (“How many computers and licenses need to be managed?”) (“What is the full inventory count of all workstations, firewalls, servers, and email / Microsoft accounts that you would like managed?”)
There are currently a total of three laptops and two phones that will need support. - How many user mailboxes need to be migrated?
There are a total of three users that will need to be migrated. - Is French Quarter Management a 501(c) Non-Profit and does the organization have access to non-profit licensing?
The French Quarter Management District is not a non-profit, but a political subdivision of the State of Louisiana. The FQMD does not have access to non-profit licensing but is approved for a government rate Microsoft account. - For Item A in section III, will the report of the initial assessment be the actual assessment report or is just an explanation of the method?
The report of the initial assessment will be the actual assessment report and will get underway once the contract is signed. - If for item 4, an initial assessment is requested prior to bid, who is the FQMD point of contact to schedule this assessment with?
The initial assessment is not required prior to bid. The FQMD Executive Director and FQMD Coordinator will be the points of contact. - Are their multiple sites needing support or just one location? For purposes of this RFI, a site is defined as a location with a business internet connection managed by FQMD and networking infrastructure.
There is one physical location needing support. - Would FQMD rather have a flat rate for all IT services (All Inclusive); or would FQMD rather have a management rate plus hourly for any extra work that needs to be done on or off site?
The FQMD would like to have a management rate plus hourly, with a breakdown of estimated costs per scope line item. - What SaaS Services and SaaS Databases is FQMD currently using?
FQMD is currently using Google Drive, Asana, RingCentral, and Zoom. - Will FQMD require compliances or certifications from the bidding companies? (“Do you have any compliance requirements?”)
FQMD will need the customary amount of cyber security and compliance as any other company. We do not require Government level security. All of our records are of public record (nothing is government classified). - Are you currently having any issues with your current I.T. landscape?
There are currently issues related to Wi-Fi strength and connectivity as well as virus protection issues. - Can you describe your current IT infrastructure? Server or Cloud?
Currently FQMD is using Google Drive as our server with the intention to migrate to Microsoft. - If you have an on-premises server, are you open to switching to the Cloud?
