Esplanade Avenue Clean-Up Part of Love the Boot Week

Who: French Quarter Management District with volunteers from Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans and Monteleone Hotels.
New Orleans, LA – On Sunday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m., volunteers will pick-up litter and collect recyclables on Esplanade Avenue in the French Quarter. This Keep the Quarter Clean effort, now in year two, is part of Love the Boot Week, a statewide litter cleanup and recycling initiative from Keep Louisiana Beautiful.
The Keep the Quarter Clean event will focus on litter abatement and collection of recyclables on Esplanade Avenue, the historic street with a wide neutral ground that bounds the French Quarter. French Quarter Management District will provide cleanup supplies, snacks, water, and t-shirts for all volunteers, who can register here: https://keeplouisianabeautiful.org/love-the-boot/volunteer
The French Quarter Management District is a state entity created by the Louisiana Legislature as a means for the residential and business communities to work together to protect, preserve and maintain the world-famous French Quarter as a safe, clean, vibrant and friendly neighborhood for residents, businesses, and visitors. In addition to Keep the Quarter Clean, the FQMD provides funding and leadership for the following programs: Supplemental Police Patrols, Glass Recycling for Coastal Restoration, North Rampart Pedestrian Safety Improvements and Remove, Lock, Take.
