At the Monday, May 8th, meeting of the French Quarter Management District’s Board of Commissioners, Chair Heidi Raines announced a Proclamation in honor of National Police Week and the May 15th National Peace Officer Memorial Day recognizing the valued members of the New Orleans Police Department’s Eighth District that were lost this past year. Today Heidi Raines presented that Proclamation to Captain LeJon Roberts. Thank you to all of the men and women of the Eighth District for their dedication and sacrifice. We appreciate everything you do for our neighborhood.
